Dear Editor:
Regarding David Bonk's letter (Sold to highest bidder Sept 27) I feel a correction is in order.  Mr. Bonk juxtaposes the agricultural and pharmaceutical industries as nefarious entities as shown by the latters treatment of "Dr." Andrew Wakefield and his autism/vaccination studies.  It should be noted that Mr. Wakefield is no longer a doctor having had his licence revoked by the UK's General Medical Council for, amongst other things, carrying out unnecessarily invasive tests on children.
Furthermore, the British medical journal 'The Lancet' has fully retracted Mr. Wakefield's studies as fraudulent and financially motivated.  His 12 co-authors have also had their names removed from the published paper.
Unvaccinated kids?  Now that is truely "frankenscience".
