Archived Letter - 524

I, Chris McDougall would like to express my heartfelt thanks to my community for the kindness that you have shown to my family throughout the process of losing my wife, the mother of our four children, Kerry-Ann McDougall.
You are: our neighbours, family & friends, the staff and students of the schools my kids attend and EDHS where Kerry taught, local churches, CW Minor Hockey, our family doctor, our dentist and staff, Grand River Cancer Centre, CCAC nurses & PSW's, Giddy Funeral Home, co-workers, and kind souls I've never even met!
And what you've done: meals, visits, cards, flowers, contributions to the trust fund for my kids, encouragement, hugs and tears, and even fuel and generators for when we were without power while Kerry was dying!
I'm overwhelmed and so grateful to be part of THIS community!  May God's richest blessing fall on all of you for your great kindness to us.
