Dear Sir:

The article, "Tarnished Diamond" written by Chris Daponte (February 8, 2013) is similar to an article by Warren Kinsella, published in the Toronto Sun on June 26, 2012.  Warren Kinsella and Chris Daponte seem to be stuck in a rut attacking conservative groups including REAL Women of Canada.

In these columns, Mr. Kinsella and Mr. Daponte allege that a board member of REAL Women of Canada, of many years ago, may have had involvement with the Neo-Nazi Heritage Front, Ku Klux Klan, etc.  If she did, this is news to us, as she gave usno such indication at any time.

Instead of following the incorrect allegations of another columnist, Mr. Daponte should take the time to check out his facts before making such allegations.  If he does not like the recipients of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee metal, perhaps he has suggestions forother possible recipients, such as more liberal organizations.
