Community Appreciation    They say it takes a village to raise a child; we believe that it also takes a community to support a family, and we are very fortunate to live in a community full of caring people.  On August 30th my husband David Gallagher was seriously injured in a baseball game, and sustained a severe brain injury.  After two and a half months, he was able to return home and continues to recover each day.  It is at this time that we would like to thank our family, friends and co-workers for your ongoing support, assistance and encouragement.  The compassion and concern that we have been shown from so many people in this community, throughout this difficult time, has helped us immensely.  We would also like to thank the players from the Elora Mens Sunday Ball League, as well as the Falcons team from the Guelph Mens Thursday Slo-Pitch League, for your collected donations for our family.  We thank you for your kindness and generosity.  With much appreciation to all of you,  Mary Black Gallagher,                                   David Gallagher,                                       Parker and Tanner Baldwin
