Re: Lauding McGuinty    My letter, originally titled Ontarios Failure of Compassion was not about lauding Mr. McGuinty. It was in response to the growing trend of cyber hatred and bullying, and in particular, to the crude, hateful and abusive comments people posted on Facebook in response to McGuinty's resignation. Criticism is good and needs to happen, but it MUST happen with RESPECT. I don't care if its McGuinty or Harper, if your blue, red, orange or green. If you're reading this article thinking I'm a Liberal supporter you've missed the point entirely. Take off your partisan glasses, tinted with strongly coloured lenses. Criticism and praise are easy but they sit on different sides of the fence. The one fact that we can ALL agree on, is McGuinty served 9 years as premier. Irrespective of what was done with that time, that's a long time. If Harper resigned tomorrow, again, the one truth would be that he contributed a lot of his time. The POINT is that TIME IS WORTH SOMETHING, and our time here on Earth is short. So maybe, we should treat each other with respect, because we ALL deserve it. Criticize or praise, but above all, do it with respect!
