it was gratifying to see that M Gold agrees with my letter ( profitable industry .. 07 Sept)   and now believes  that the slots at racetrack partnership must stay as it is  to keep the horse racing industry  profitable and viable and not risk thousands of jobs which would be lost if the formula  was changed     now if Gold could only convince his friends McGinty/Duncan to reverse their horrendous decision  to end the SAR on March 31st 2013 the people of Ontario    would continue to reap over a billion  dollars in profit yearly and benefit from the $2.5 - $3  billion that the  racing industry injects  into the economy
