I'm missing something;  How is it that our council would consider spending mega dollars on a new Library makeover in Fergus and is contemplating shutting down the Aboyne library?  Aboyne is a relatively new facility, has lots of parking, has wonderful children's programs that are always full with waiting lists and a staff that are extremely willing to help.  I agree that the Fergus library is small compared to Aboyne Library but does the extravagant costs to refit/renovate justify the need?  If we have that much extra money in the coffers then let's share with the Roads Dept. and do some much needed repairs on Garafraxa in Fergus and Colborne Street in Elora.  Please explain this to me, I just don't get it.  Willow Hobson  Elora
