This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending several local farms as part of the fall Rural Romp. I would like to extend a huge thank you to the farmers I had the priviledge of visiting. They were so welcoming, knowledgable and friendly. A particular highlight was feeding apples to elk at the Erin Valley Elk Farm. I hope the Rural Romp continues to grow and that more people take advantage of this opportunity to engage with local food producers. Buy local, its much more fun!
