Re:Carbon fee/ dividend: letter to the Editor: July 12/18
It's a little late for the Guelph Climate Change Lobby to try to get us to swallow that the carbon tax is simply an innocuous fee, dividend, investment or price and we'll get every penny of our "revenue-neutral" dividend back.
Nice try, but, sorry to inform you, it's a tax!
Ontarians long ago recognized the doublespeak of the previous governments and their various climate lobby brethren.
This is the reason Doug Ford was gladly awarded his unprecedented super majority by the voters. He tells it like it is. It's a tax!
Like the old saying goes: If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. It's a duck !!!!
