Dear Editor,
I am a grade 7 student at John Black Public School, and I highly disagree with having WIFI on school buses. What is wrong about having a peaceful ride on the school bus? Why do people have to be on instagram, snapchat and twitter all the time? What’s the big deal, you most likely have WIFI at home and you are on it all day? A school bus is transportation that you get for free to get to school, and you can talk in person and hang out with your friends. If you add WIFI to school buses everyone with be on their phone, ipad or ipods. The bus driver will think it’s great because all the kids will be quiet and not screaming, but that’s not the point! A school bus is a blessing, it is one of the only things that in the world that doesn’t have WIFI, so let's keep it that way. Remember disconnecting your phones can help you reconnect with the world around you.
