Archived Letter - 1280

I go to school at John Black and am disgusted at the fact that there are no sidewalks on St Andrew St OR Lamond. I have many times found speeding cars and have almost been hit by cars before. There are times where I have to step into the grass to avoid being hit by cars which I don't love because it gets my shoes all wet. Plus I always see cars swerving around kids and other cars which must be annoying and stressful for the drivers and it puts the kids on edge so. I mean does a kid have to be killed by a car so that either the board or the government steps up and pays for sidewalks. I mean I get it's expensive I understand that but it must be worth it to make kids feel safe walking to school. I'd think so.
