Distracted driving is a real issue. Did you know in 2014 3,154 people died and another 424,000 people were injured in motor vehicle crashes caused by drivers who were distracted . Maybe you're thinking “What is distracted driving?”.  It’s when driving without your full attention or concentration .So today i am writing to let you know that distracted driving has serious consequences , from 1 year jail time all the way to death of a  person. Not to mention the life long guilt you would be feeling if you hurt someone . So i’m telling you to get your eyes up and start concentrating  on the road not on your device since this is such an important issue i'm telling you to knock it off, and realize that so many people die  from this habit of driving on your phone or device . But distracted driving is so much more than  devices .It’s  the act of driving while engaged in other activities—such as looking after children, texting, talking on the phone or to a passenger, watching videos, eating, smoking, , or reading. These activities take the driver's attention away from the road.So if you do any of these activities while you drive i just want to let you know that it's so wrong ,and you could be in serious debt and  trouble if anyone found out . Think about that the next time you stop at mcdonalds on your trip to the cottage .
Sincerely,
Alli Pettifer
