Subject OPP Annual Report
As a taxpayer I would like to see that I am getting value for money spent.
Therefore some suggestions for the OPP annual report
- Standardize the report so that people can see the performance we are getting year to year
2.Some suggested areas for year to year comparisons
a.Utilize the "Top 10 calls for Criminal Offenses"
b.Total year to year cost of policing
c.Total number of Officers current year versus previous
d.Performance criteria like # of crimes per category vs # crimes solved and successfully prosecuted.
I suggest other citizens or Lynda White and her team probably have suggestions to add to this list.
With a standardized report taxpayers might feel they are getting value for their tax dollars.
