Archived Letter - 1126
GOOD PEOPLE, my wife and I were travelling to Detroit to a Red Wing game last February 14th. We were in serious accident and our truck was written off.
While waiting at the "on route" for a the tow truck we saw a family that was obviously heading to the Wing game as well. We gave the our tickets and asked them to use them or give them to someone that could.
This summer this couple found our home from the name on the envelope holding the tickets using their GPS. They had sold the tickets and handed me $240.00 American dollars.
They told me that with the lose of our truck and not being able to attend the game we needed some good news.
It was amazing the effort they went through to find us and certainly confirms that decent people continue to do decent things. Jim Cushing
