What’s the matter, Mike? Do you feel like your current level of privilege is under attack?

Bill C-16, for those who haven’t read up on it, adds “gender identity or expression” as a prohibited ground of discrimination to the Canadian Human Rights Act. The only reason one could possibly be opposed to this is that you are scared you may be giving up some of that precious privilege.

Let me guess: now you are saying “what privilege?” I can understand that; privilege is hard to see because of what doesn’t happen to us when we have it.
