We recently had our motorhome burn in our driveway and it is then that I realized that I unintentionally have taken the services of our volunteer fire fighters for granted.  I am almost certain these people do not do this job for the money, it is truly has to be out of the goodness of their hearts.  I will be forever grateful for the dedicated members of the Guelph/Eramosa and the Puslinch Volunteer fire departments for leaving the comfort of their beds on a work night no less to come and save my home.   I am so very thankful that no one was hurt and that damage really was minimal, considering how dry it has been.  I have been fortunate to live in a neighbourhood that has always been very supportive and I thank you all for your hugs and condolences, so sorry for the huge scare.  This incident has also reminded me that the way this neighbourhood rallied at a time of need is what makes this such a wonderful town, I don’t think a big grocery store or a Tim Hortons can take that away unless we let it.  Huge thanks to all!
