Good morning,
I would like to request that people go into the Horizon Restaurant, in downtown Fergus, and ask the owner why he REFUSED SERVICE TO 2 SENIORS.

My 86 year old grandmother and her friend went in on Thursday and were refused service because only one of them ordered a full meal.  When they asked to speak to the owner, he refused and told them to leave.

I went to speak to the owner Friday morning and he again refused.  One of the tables invited me to sit down to talk about my concern and the owner came out and pulled the chair out from beneath me, nearly dumping me on the floor.  He still refused to speak with me.

This local business owner apparently does not believe he is accountable for his actions and I would appreciate it if we could raise awareness and let him know that treating people in our community in this way is not acceptable.
