The Arboretum, at the University of Guelph is hosting a hawk workshop to help participants develop skills in identifying migrating hawks, falcons, vultures, eagles and osprey.
This one-day workshop will be held Sept. 7 from 9am to 4pm.
The Arboretum’s naturalist, Chris Earley will lead the workshop, taking participants through a series of hands-on activities to learn about plumage, body shape, foraging techniques, flight patterns and migration times of 15 species.
