Appointments to non-profit board
Centre Wellington council named three people to its Grand River Non-profit Housing Corporation board on Monday night.
Deputy-Clerk Kerry O’Kane reported that current class A director Peggy Treahy and class B director Sandy Cleghorn had each agreed to sit on the board for another two years.
Class A directors are people who live at the home and Class B directors are those who do not but sit on the board and help operate the facility.
O’Kane reported that with some recruitment efforts, Judy Anderson has agreed to serve a two year term as a director.
