Another suspicious fire

GUELPH – On Sept. 21 at about 8:30pm Guelph Police and Fire was called to 103 Fountain Street East, near the police station, where a small fire was located inside an oven.

The address is a residential housing unit, and it was unoccupied at the time the fire broke out.

Constable Michael Gatto reported the fire was contained, and minimal damage resulted.

Police are requesting anyone who may have observed any persons in the area, between 8 and 8:30pm to contact the investigating officer, Constable Ken Rodd of the property crime unit at extension 370, or to remain  anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
