GRAND VALLEY - The Grand Valley Lions are again holding their Annual Polar Bear Dip on Jan. 1.

Registration for all “dippers” starts at noon, with the dip starting at 1pm sharp.

Spectators are encouraged to bring a donation to ConCern, Grand Valley’s Food Bank.

All proceeds from dippers also go to ConCern.

Organizers recommend all dippers obtain a pledge form before the dip and have their dip sponsored by friends and family.

Last year, the Grand Valley Lions Polar Bear Dip donated $1,000 to the food bank.

In addition, more than 150 pounds of food were sent to ConCern.

The Grand Valley Lions donated all the turkeys and hams to the food bank for those in need at Christmas time.

For more information or registration forms for the Grand Valley Lions Polar Bear Dip, contact Lion Randy at 519-943-5471 or at randymcc@rogers.com.
