Annual chili fest returns to Rockwood / Erin
Whether you live in Erin or Rockwood, local residents will have the chance to enjoy a bowl of homemade chili for lunch in support of United Way.
East Wellington Community Services, an agency funded by United Way, is hosts Chili Fest 2012 , with proceeds going to the 2012 United Way fundraising campaign.
At each event, particpants will be able to enjoy a bowl of homemade chili, a bun and drink for only $5.
In Rockwood, Chili Fest is Oct. 4 from 11am – 2pm at the Royal Bank - Rockwood.
In Erin, the event is on Oct. 5 from 11am – 2pm at the Royal Bank Erin.
Proceeds from the festival will be donated to the United Way of Guelph Wellington Dufferin. Organizers of the events aim to raise more than $1,000 from both days to put towards the United Way’s fundraising goal of $3.2-million.
