Andy Hughes releases first ever album

Guelph singer-songwriter Andy Hughes is releasing his first ever album titled Be Yourself.

A release concert will be held on April 29 at 8pm at the Guelph Black Heritage Society.

Hughes will be performing the entire album and will be joined by Lewis Melville on guitar and vocals; Tannis Slimmon and Annie Sumi singing background vocals/ harmonies; Steve Vickery on upright bass, along with special guests Colin Couch on tuba; Greg Denton on banjo and Lisa Woolgar on flute.

The opening act will be Ian Reid, who will open the evening event with a 30-minute set.

Tickets are $20 and available online at www.ticketscene.ca/events/17878, through The Bookshelf - or at the door (cash only).
