ANDREWS, Valerie – It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Valerie Andrews on February 26, 2018 at the age of 74. Beloved wife to Geoff for 53 years and loving mother to Helen and grandmother to Nicole and Kathryn. Val was a lady who lit up the room with a smile. She was selfless, caring and always put others first. You knew how loved you were by her wonderful and warm hugs. A celebration of life was held at the Pine Meadows Community Centre on Sunday March 4th. Val and Geoff spent many years both organizing and volunteering at the Terry Fox Run so therefore, donations can be made in her name to the Terry Fox Foundation or to Wounded Warriors Foundation which has been a charity that has recently become close to her heart.
