Andrew Hartholt joins Centre Wellington building department
The building department in Centre Wellington is growing with the community.
On Sept. 25, councillors authorized the mayor and clerk to update its bylaw appointing a chief building official and building officials.
The building division of the planning and development department recently hired Andrew Hartholt as a new building official.
Chief building official Randy Bossence said his report is a follow-up to previous discussions with council in regard to the need for such a position.
“We have successfully recruited Andrew Hartholt,” Bossence said.
Sept. 25 also marked the first day on the job for Hartholt.
