ANDERSON, Marion Leona May 13, 1944 – November 25, 2017. The family of Marion Anderson sadly announces her passing, suddenly, at home on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Marion was predeceased by her beloved husband Nigel. Dear mother of Wayne (Nancy), Wilma Lee (Ian), Cathy and Melissa. She will be greatly missed by her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her brother James (Barbara) Funk, nephew Jeremy (Amaris), niece Wendy (Ken), aunt Erna Houghton of Moose Jaw Sask and sisters-in-law Charolette Renault and Joan Ramsey of New Brunswick. She was blessed to have many friends that touched her life and became like members of her family. Many will know Marion from her time with the Lionettes in Rockwood and her many years as secretary at Rockwood Centennial School. Marion is predeceased her mother Mary Schneider, daughter Kimberly Haugh and son in law Harvey Haugh. A Celebration of Marion’s life will be at Rockmosa Community Hall, 74 Christie St., Rockwood, on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
