Amended resolution required for funding
Councillors here have revised a resolution putting forth an expression of interest in upcoming infrastructure funding for a West Garafraxa bridge.
On Nov. 18, councillors amended its Oct. 28 minutes to state that council directs staff to submit an expression of interest for capital funding under the Ontario “Small, Rural and Northern Municipal Infrastructure Fund” for the replacement of bridge structure 16-WG.”
As such the township will have in place by Dec. 31, 2013 a comprehensive asset management plan that includes all of the information and analysis described in “Building Together: Guide for Municipal Asset Management Plans”.
A comprehensive asset management plan will be publically available, including on the Township’s web site, by May 30, 2014.
In addition, that same resolution stated that the project put forward in the application will be completed by December 31, 2015.
Councillors noted that these points were missing from the original Oct. 28 resolution.
