ALMOND, Evelyn; at Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Mary Evelyn Almond (nee Free), of Mount Forest, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Almond. Loving mother of Karen Black and her husband Harold of Grand Valley, Kathy Almond and her husband Paul Grainger of Orillia, Marj Almond of Sudbury, Mary Almond and her husband Bob Emmerton of Leduc, Alberta, Brian Almond of Fergus and Joan Almond of Waterloo. Cherished grandmother of Robert Black, Jennifer Black and husband Brien Mullin, Don Black and wife Sara Murphy Black, Julia Almond, Tamara Almond, Dustin Emmerton and Alex Emmerton. Cherished great grandmother of Blake Mullin and Lewis Black. Evelyn will also be remembered fondly by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and their families. Predeceased by her brother Elgin Free. Friends called at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Friday, February 26th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of Evelyn’s life was held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 27th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation followed.
