Alma Optimists invite community to Breakfast with Santa event
ALMA – Santa Claus will be keeping warm at the Alma Community Centre prior to the community’s annual parade on Dec. 21.
Everyone is invited for a breakfast of pancakes, sausages and juice between 8:30 and 10:30am. Santa is expected to show up around 9am, Optimist treasurer and Mapleton councillor Amanda Reid told the Advertiser.
Maple syrup has been donated by an Alma family and breakfast is by donation to the Optimists, with funds raised going towards Optimist programs in Mapleton, Reid said.
There will be kids activities, colouring, games and time to visit with Santa. Attendees can bring cameras for photos with Santa.
