Alma celebrates Canada Day in Wallace Cumming Park
ALMA – Canada Day events in Alma began at noon on July 1, with a parade entering Wallace Cumming Park to an open patch of grass where a ceremony began.
From left, Jeremy, Brooke, Reid, Julian and Zach from the University of Waterloo were at the Alma event showing off their race cars. Jeremy also gave a small speech at the ceremony after the parade of people rolled in.
Owen Tindell participated in the parade at the Canada Day event hosted by the Alma Optimist Club at Wallace Cumming Park on July 1. After the ceremony, he went straight to the buckets of bubbles which were provided by the local Girl Guides to create a truly impressive bubble.
