All that glitters this year in Elora on Nov. 26

This year all that glitters … will be here as Santa Claus comes to town.

Elora’s annual Santa Claus Parade of Lights gets underway Nov. 26, starting at 6:15pm.

Arrive early to be among the 6,000 parade viewers anticipated this year.

View or participate in this majestic fully-lit parade in downtown Elora along Geddes, Metcalfe and Mill Street East.

This year the Santa meet and greet will be moving to the Elora Centre for the Arts immediately after the parade.

Meet Santa and get free cookies and ciders along with the chance to view a decorated gallery or pick out a Christmas tree.

The venue includes a silent auction of festive wreaths created by local artists, designers and merchants to support the centre. The auction closes at 2pm on Nov. 27.”‹ For those taking part, a minimum donation of $100 or ‘pay what you can’ over this amount, for all businesses participating in the parade. Sponsorships are not included in the fee.

Not-for-profits are exempt from all fees, although donations to the Elora Lions and offers of volunteers to assist with our events will be accepted and most appreciated.  For more information email Staci Barron at eloralions@gmail.com, elorapottery@gmail.com or call 519-846-9841.
