Aitchison, Douglas William; Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, on June 3rd, 2011 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Joan Aitchison (Dickinson) in 2008. Doug was the loving father of Debra Lynn Walser and her husband Doug and Dawn Marie Funkenhauser and her husband Chris. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Jasmine, Joelle and Beau Walser and Palmer and Gage Funkenhauser. Dear friend of Jackie Grant of Niagara Falls. Doug was the only son of the late William & Greta Aitchison. Private family service will take place at a later date. Reception to be held at the Grand River Raceway, Lighthouse Room, on Saturday, June 11th, 2011 from 2-5pm. Memorial Donations can be directed to the Ontario Standardbred Association.
