AIDS symposium is set for Nov. 21

The seventh annual HIV/AIDS symposium will be held here at the at the Holiday Inn on Scottsdale Drive on Nov. 21.

Topics for the day include:

- an update on HIV prevention, treatment, and social issues;

- a discussion panel focused on HIV and aging, featuring first person perspectives;

- an update on hepatitis C treatment and harm reduction initiatives; and

- looking at psychosocial research on what places gay men at an increased risk for HIV.
