FERGUS - Agilec collected 857 pairs of socks this December for Sockraiser.

The company set out with a goal to collect 300 pairs of socks. Last year the sock drive collected 292 pairs.

“Through the month it seemed like everyone who heard about the Sockraiser wanted to help out and every week the pile got bigger and bigger,” organizers state.

“There are children’s socks, adult socks, bulk packs, single thermal packs, avenger socks, and more.”

Anyone who goes into the Centre Wellington Food Bank will have a selection of socks from which to choose.

“Thank you to everyone who supported, spread the word, and helped out with the Sockraiser,” organizers state.

“It’s a reason why we love working for Agilec, the support from everyone was amazing and we are able to show how much a part of the community we are.”
