Tournament winners - On Aug. 25 the Aboyne Croquet Club hosted an open tournament with players from Texas, California, Maryland, Toronto, as well as others from the local area. Invented in Great Britain in 1856, the game is now played across the world. Designed so that men and women can compete equally, the game is often described as a cross between chess and billiards played on grass.
