A lesson in etiquette
The Mapleton 4-H club held its first meeting about etiquette on April 1 at the Moorefield Optimist Hall, led by Lynne Flewelling and Cathy Dobben.
The club’s junior leaders are Jordan Dobben and Val Koepke. The executive for this club includes president Marina Meulenbelt, vice-president Rachel Brodhaecker, secretary Jarrod Dobben and press reporter Shayna Morphy.
Highlights from the meeting included sharing embarrassing moments, learning the proper way to eat soup and reviewing questions about etiquette. The club’s second meeting was April 22.
