As the municipal nomination deadline draws near, it looks like there are still a few positions open to represent Puslinch residents.

As of mid-afternoon on July 24, there remained a two-way race for mayor between incumbent Dennis Lever and Morriston resident James Seeley.

As for local council seats, three incumbents: Ken Roth, John Sepulis and Matthew Bulmer have filed their nomination papers.

Incumbent Don McKay has filed to once again represent residents as Wellington County County ward 7 position.

Names filed to represent local school boards that represent Puslinch residents are as follows: French separate, Geneviève Grenier (incumbent); French public, Denis Trudel; English public (none listed on Puslinch website); and English Catholic, incumbent Cassandra O’Donnell (Chornoboy).
