9th annual Groundhog Bonspiel held at Fergus Curling Club
Pipers play in unison at the Fergus Curling Club Feb. 3.

FERGUS - Piping teams onto the ice continues to be the tradition at the Fergus Curling Club – as it was on Feb. 3, the day of the 9th annual Groundhog Bonspiel.

Sixteen teams participated in the competition, consisting of three six-end games with Team Spurgeon from Galt coming out on top. From left are: skip Paul Spurgeon, lead Kim McCaw, vice Monica Vesley and second David Gowman.
