81's to face Rocks in final
Two Wellington County teams will face off in the WOAA Senior ‘AA’ North Division final.
A 7-3 victory over the Durham Thundercats on March 8 in Mount Forest gave the Mapleton-Minto 81s a 4-1 win in the divisional semi-final.
The 81’s will now face the Elora Rocks who eliminated the Saugeen Shoes Winterhawks with a 6-3 win in Elora on March 7. The Rocks also took their semi-final series by a 4-1 count.
Game one between the Rocks and 81’s is March 15 at 7:30pm at the Palmerston arena.
