81's, Squires tied at 2-2 in series
Another weekend split left the Mapleton-Minto 81’s deadlocked at two games apiece in their WOAA Senior semi-final series with the Petrolia Squires.
The 81’s dropped a home contest in Palmerston on March 3 by a 7-4 count. Andrew Coburn, with a pair of goals, paced the Mapleton-Minto attack.
On March 5, the 81’s turned the tables on the Squires and picked up a 7-3 win in Petrolia.
The series continues March 10 at 8:30pm at the PMD arena in Drayton. Games six is March 11 in Petrolia at 7pm and game seven, if needed, is March 12 in Palmerston at 6pm.
