81's advance to final in senior AA playoffs
The Mapleton-Minto 81’s advanced to the WOAA senior ‘AA’ hockey finals with a 5-4 overtime win over the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks here March 12.
Scott Tregunna recorded a hat trick to lead the 81’s attack. Brent Cochrane also scored in regulation time. Duston Hebebrand scored the overtime winner.
The victory gave the 81’s a 4-1 series win over the Winterhawks and moved them into the league finals against the Clinton Radars.
The schedule for the final series was not available at deadline.
