4-H poultry club report

Our last Erin 4-H poultry club meeting was held on Sept. 3.

To start off this meeting, we said the 4-H pledge and then we all discussed what our display boards are going to be. My group got “raising backyard chickens”.

Then we all worked hard to get our display boards done. Some of us had cardboard along the top to put the title on and keep the display board steady. We all had a great display boards in the end. These display boards are going to be at the Fergus and Erin Fall Fairs.

We talked a bit about Fergus fair, and what to do and what it is going to look like. After that, we ended the meeting with the motto.

Some of our members will be showing their chickens at the Fergus Fall Fair Sept. 18 to 20. We all will be showing our chickens at the Erin Fall Fair on Oct. 10 in the afternoon. Hope to see you there!
