4-H: Pin cushions and pillowcases
Meeting three of the Mimosa “Sewing with Fleece” 4-H club started with the 4-H Pledge, which was lead by our club presidents.
Next, our club secretary read her report, and yours truly, read the press report for the previous meetings. Club members had a lesson to better understand what fleece material is and its uses. Leaders June and Carol taught us how to make proper pincushions.
These were fun to make. Afterwards, each member measured, cut, sewed, and stuffed material to make our mini-fleece pillows. We cleaned up our sewing stations and closed the meeting with the 4-H Motto.
