4-H Ontario holds silent auction for donated ATV

ROCKWOOD 4-H Ontario is hosting a silent auction for a 2021 Honda Foreman TRX520 from Kitchener Waterloo Honda. The 2021 Honda ATV was donated to 4-H Ontario by the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA). Bidding for the ATV is underway and will conclude on Oct. 12 at 7pm.

“4-H Ontario is very grateful for OFA’s donation and their continued support of our organization and all the 4-H’ers across the province,” says 4-H Ontario excecutive director Christine Oldfield.

“The funds raised from the auction will go towards upcoming provincial programming,” she added.

The ATV valued at $9,499, combines impressive handling with exceptional efficiency to tackle any terrain, organizes note.

A minimum bid of $3,500 has been set.

The winner of the auction will also receive gift cards for a safety package including items like a helmet and fluorescent jacket.

“OFA is proud to support 4-H Ontario, an organization that has played a key role in many future farmers’ lives. The motto of Head, Heart, Hands and Health is as relevant as ever in our rural communities,” said OFA president Peggy Brekveld. “We encourage our members to support agriculture’s next generation of leaders by participating in the auction.”
