14th annual antique and classic car show Sept. 11

People will find downtown Fergus alive Sept. 11 with an expected 150 or more antique and classic cars revving and rolling into town for the 14th annual car show.

One of Centre Wellington’s most popular events, the car show attracts hundreds of people into its historic core every year.

The Scottish limestone buildings provide an excellent acoustic stage for Kent Tocher, whose old time favourites create the ideal ambience.

Along with Kirk Robinson (Auto Experts) as master of ceremonies, prizes for the top three winning cars, M & M Meats will have a barbecue in aid of the local Community Pantry food bank, and there will be door prizes and a BIA draw for a spending spree in downtown Fergus.

The event runs from 5 to 9pm on the main street.
