$100,000 donation for Palmerston MRI

MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Thrift Shop was the setting for a $100,000 cheque presentation (pledged over two years) to support the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation’s MRI+ Campaign. “Cancer Patient Services Corporation recognizes the value of good diagnostic testing to support cancer patients in their treatment journey,” officials stated. “Excellent and timely diagnostics often means better patient outcomes. The MRI technology coming to Palmerston and District Hospital will offer much improved access to this important service to all areas of rural Wellington County and beyond.” Accepting the donation on behalf of the MRI+ Campaign committee were co-chair Dan Hill, back row, far right, and foundation development officer Dale Franklin, front row, second from right.
