"Sparkles" return to Guelph park
Officials are inviting locals to “experience the beauty of Riverside Park transformed into a magical winter wonderland.”
Over 30,000 lights adorn tree tops along with nativity scenes and festive displays that have been created by local businesses and individual community members.
Visitors can drive through the park enjoying the lights, or they can park the car with free parking until New Year’s Eve.
Sparkles in the Park is held nightly from 5:30 to 9:30pm, ending with fireworks on New Year’s Eve at the family celebration in the park at 8pm.
Free shuttle buses are available on New Year’s Eve to and from the Guelph Walmart parking lot.
