"Intoxicated" thief?
On April 26 at about 6:30am Wellington County OPP was dispatched to a break-in in progress on Young Street here.
Police say a man was attempting to break in through a smashed window while the victim was in the home.
Police say officers attended and located an “intoxicated” male inside the enclosed porch.
George Gawel, 24, of Guelph, was charged with break and enter and is to appear in Guelph court on May 15.
