The Erin Hillsburgh PeeWee ‘BB’ Devils played back-to-back games last weekend in Collingwood.

Team officials state the team played “an amazing game” on Saturday, taking the win (4-2) but losing 5-4 in OT in Sunday’s game.

Game four of the OMHA finals is March 28 at 7pm at Center 2000 in Erin. Collingwood leads the series 2-1.

“Although we took an early 3-0 lead, we let Collingwood get back into the game, I was proud of our boys for not giving up after the game was tied in the second period,” coach Bob Vavaroutsos said of the team’s overtime win on Sunday. “We were able to take a 4-3 lead late in the third but we got caught out of position and they (Collingwood) took advantage of that allowing a goal to tie the game forcing overtime. Collingwood is a team with an exceptional 60-5-4 record.

“We can’t make fundamental errors against them and expect to win. We will be ready for them Friday.”
