ZIEMANN, Siegfried Erich Walter
It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Siegfried Erich Walter Ziemann on September 27, 2026 in the comfort of his own home in Kitchener Ontario, surrounded by his family at the age of 92. Beloved husband to Christa for 64 wonderful years. Proud father to Elisabeth (Glen), Brigitte (Wayne), David (Rebecca), and Sam (Andrea). Treasured Grandfather to Christa (Piotr), Michael (Melissa), Gabriel (Rebekah), Joshua (Juliana), Rachel (Edward), Rebekah, Benjamin, Caleb, Joel, and Tenley and Step-Grandfather to Avery and Riley. Great Grandfather to Isaiah, Isabella, Lilliana, Ethan, Ryland, Jesse, Madelyn, Everly, Noah and Ava. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Minna Ziemann and his brothers Werner, Hubert, Fritz, Daniel, and sisters Kaethe, Ilsa, and Edeltraut. He will be dearly missed by his Wife, Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Church Family, and Friends. Siegfried was born in Germany in 1933 to Walter and Minna Ziemann. He immigrated with his family to Alberta at the age of 18. Later he moved to Ontario where he met and married the love of his life, Christa (Lochner). His lifelong passion was farming, continuing up into his eighties before retiring. He then spent his later years tending his large garden. He was a loving and supportive father, always willing to help others who were in need. His unwavering Christian faith in the Word of God guided him throughout his life. Siegfried will be remembered for his dedication and steadfastness. We want to thank the doctors, nurses, PSWs, etc. who offered compassionate care to Siegfried and the family during his last few weeks at home. The funeral will be held on October 10th at Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Breslau ON.
